WHAT’S THE MOST POPULAR DOG BREED IN CANBERRA?

Dog lovers have had their say across Australia – and the results are in for the nation’s favourite breeds!

New data from rent.com.au shows mixed dog breeds have captured the hearts of many Aussies at 35%!

They were followed by staffy’s at 8.9% and Maltese Shih Tzu’s at 5.1%.

But what about here in the ACT?

Canberrans also seem to like mixed breeds (29.9%) and staffy’s (9.4%), but our results for third and fourth spot proved interesting.

The nation’s capital stood out as the only state or territory to have Labrador’s in the top three (6%) and Kelpie’s in the top four (5.1%)!
