It’s Show time!
The ActewAGL Royal Canberra Show kicks off tomorrow with a raft of exciting new additions and all the usual favourites!
Teenagers and kids of all ages will enjoy the brand new Tech Hub filled with gadgets, robotics, 3D printing and remote control car racing.
Other new additions include the Canberra Royal’s Strongest Man and Woman competition, displays from talented riders and ponies from the Australian Mounted Games Association NSW and the Farmer Gets A Bride contest.
When you’re feeling a bit peckish, try some tasty food in the new Multicultural Food Precinct, or an old fashioned dagwood dog followed by some fairy floss always hits the spot!
Lachie Cossor and his 1000kg bullock Jigsaw will be back to wow crowds with their Outback Stockman Show and spectators can enjoy the wood chopping comp under the new shaded Arena!
Some of the returning favourites are the Feathered Friends free flight bird show, the Canadian Lumberjacks and the popular Thoroughbred Racing Piglets.
There’s something for everyone at the Showbags Pavilion – check out the Top Five Showbags this year.
Visitors are also encouraged to check out the shearing, live music, Side Show Alley, Farmyard Nursery, extreme rides, the spectacular fireworks display and more! Check out the full program to make sure you don’t miss out on your favourite attractions!

Those with pre-purchased tickets can get FREE return ACTION Bus transport to the show.
Public parking is available at Wells Station road via Sandford Street or Northbourne Avenue, and at Randwick Road via Flemington Road, for about $10 a vehicle.
