Jarrod Croker’s face said it all when he hurt his knee during Saturday’s 38-12 win over the Cowboys.

Scans reveal the Raiders Captain will need surgery to repair damage after he dislocated his left kneecap.

In a major blow for the club, it means Croker will miss the rest of the 2018 season.

He’s set to have surgery early next week and should be ready to get back into pre-season training for 2019 at the end of the year.

Devastated fans have taken to Facebook to express their sympathy and support…

“Sad news. My daughter and I will miss watching you run around in the lime green. We wish you a speedy recovery.” – Peter

“Oh no, so sorry to hear that. All the best with your recovery, toots.” – Alison

“Champions always bounce back. Bring on 2019!” – Mark

“You will be back better than ever…” - Maureen

Our guys next take on the Sharks at Southern Cross Stadium on Friday July 20, with kick-off at 6pm.

They need to win almost every game from here on in to keep their finals hopes alive!
