It takes just one time of letting your pet sleep in your bed, for it to think it’s the king or queen of the boudoir!

So it’ll probably come as no surprise to learn one in three Aussie pet owners get frisky while their pets are in the room (30%).

That’s according to a realestate.com.au study, which also shows the figure is even higher for cat owners at 40%!

In other interesting stats on bedroom etiquette between Aussies and their four-legged friends, two in three cat owners (66%) and more than half dog owners (54%) let their pet sleep in bed with them.

And given a choice, 47% of Aussies would choose a pet over a human (38%) when it comes to housemates.

What about Canberrans though? Are we just as fond of having our furry friends with us all the time?

28% of ACT residents have admitted to getting busy while their pets are present and 20% said their pets sleep in their bed with them every night!

While, 47% of Canberrans admitted they’d prefer a pet than a housemate.

It got Ned and Josh talking about people’s love for their pets, so they asked listeners – has your pet walked in on something they shouldn’t have?
