The bizarre case of a tiny house stolen from Canberra and taken on a journey to QLD has finally been solved!
Queensland Police found the home in Hervey Bay and arrested a 24-year-old man, who’ll face court next month.
The prototype, believed to be worth around $20,000, was stolen from outside the Smartdeck office in Mitchell on Sunday night.
The news sparked a massive search on social media, with ACT and QLD police investigating.
Officers made the arrest late last night after receiving a tip-off from a member of the public who’d spotted the tiny house.
Owner Julie Bray has since taken to Facebook to thank everyone who helped spread the word.
“Hugs and blessings to everyone who has shared and called!! The response has been overwhelming! Thank you!!!”
