A 36 year old Canberra woman has had her licence suspended, after she was allegedly caught speeding and drink driving with two young kids in the car.
Police say they clocked her at 127km/h in a 90 zone on the Kings Highway at Currowan yesterday afternoon.
She was arrested and returned a positive breath test of 0.134.
Police say there were two girls in the car at the time, aged eight and 11.
The woman’s due to face Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday February 27.
About 10:45pm the same day, a 20 year old Sydney man was allegedly clocked at 140km/h on the Hume Highway at Bookham, about 90 kilometres north-west of Canberra.
Police say the man was a P1 p-plater, meaning he’s not allowed to drive above 90km/h.
He also had his licence suspended.
