Summer is here and so are the jellyfish.
Wide Bay beach goers are being urged to stay safe at the beach and keep an eye out for a range of stingers including blue bottles, blubber jellyfish and hairy jellyfish.
One teenager in Bundaberg recently was stung and a little boy was stung by a bluebottle at Torquay earlier this week.
Craig Holden from Surf Life Saving Queensland said the best way to stay safe with jellyfish around, is to swim at patrolled beaches.
