Sixteen Hurt In Gold Coast Minibus Crash

Paramedics have confirmed 19 people have been treated, following a minibus vs 4WD crash in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

Emergency crews were called to 15km south of the Beechmont and Nerang Murwillumbah Road at Advancetown just before 9.30am.

The bus was transporting a group of Japanese tourists at the time, while it's believed a pregnant woman is among those injured.

All up, 19 people - including 2 who were in the 4WD at the time - were assessed, and 16 taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.

More than 10 Ambulance crews were needed at the scene.

The good news is none of the injuries are considered life threatening.
