Police Are Investigating The Armed Robbery Of A Cake Shop

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a cake store at Morayfield earlier today.

Around 9.50am a man reportedly entered the Morayfield Road business armed with knife and made demands for money from the till.

Police say the man continue to menace staff with the knife before fleeing from the store with money from the till, heading south.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The offender is described as being aged in his 20’s, Caucasian, approximately 175cm tall, proportionate build with a blondish coloured beard (approximately three days of growth) and what appeared to be blonde-coloured hair.

He was wearing black shorts, a light blue hooded jumper with the hood up, black trainers and a black backpack.

Investigations are continuing.
