Spend your long weekend hiking through the rainforest, chasing waterfalls, exploring the region’s wineries and sampling the local produce and food.

Who doesn’t want to hit the beach on a long weekend? With one of the best beaches in Australia and plenty of activities for the whole family, Mooloolaba is a perfect weekend escape.
Distance from Brisbane: Two hours
Heritage buildings, galleries, museums and markets make this a great place to explore over the long weekend. There’s plenty of places to stay in the surrounding Sunshine Coast hinterland areas.
