Things are about to get mental on Brisbane roads as commuters make their way to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre ahead of Ariana Grande's concert tonight.
It's expected all major roads to Boondall will experience high congestion with thousands of fans making their way to the concert during peak hour.
If you're arriving in Brisbane today and don't want to get caught up in the chaos, passengers are being urged to travel to and from Brisbane Airport via the Airtrain.
They released the following in a statement:
"The Airtrain is the fastest and most convenient way to travel between the Brisbane Airport and Brisbane’s CBD and on to the Gold Coast and Redcliffe lines. With a service every 15 minutes during peak time and every 30 minutes during off peak times, commuters can avoid the congested roads this evening."
"Airtrain would like to let your listeners know that those planning to travel to or from Brisbane Airport this evening should consider catching the Airtrain to avoid delays and arrive in time for check-in and bag checks."
Other modes of transport to consider that are outlined on the Brisbane Entertainment Centre website include;
Located on the Shorncliffe Line, Boondall Station is a short 600m walk to the Centre.
Due to the finishing time of some events, some scheduled services departing Boondall Station may not make connecting services. For more information and details regarding track changes please visit the Translink website or call 13 12 30.
Brisbane City Council Buses operate a bus service to and from Boondall Railway Station on a daily basis. For more detailed information on bus timetables visit the Translink website or call 13 12 30.
A dedicated taxi rank is located on site adjacent to the Ticketek Box Office. Taxis will be available after the show and a Supervisor present to assist.
