A Man Has Escaped From A Brisbane Home After Allegedly Being Held Captive And Tortured

Queensland Police have confirmed detectives have charged a man following the alleged stabbing of another man in Spring Hill today.

QPS will allege around 1pm a 22-year-old Spring Hill man was at another man’s residence in Gregory Terrace at Spring Hill where he has been held against his will and stabbed a number of times in both legs. 

The man managed to run away and was transported to the Royal Women’s and Brisbane Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 38-year-old Spring Hill man has been charged with one count each of torture, wounding and deprivation of liberty and will appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
