South Australia has some of the most beautiful seaside landscapes in the world, but not all of our beaches are the safest to swim in with waves crashing into rocks and some unfriendly ocean life.
Now, Joshua Harkness, a resident of Hallett Cove is petitioning to introduce a sea pool.
“Hallett Cove offers visitors one of South Australia's most visited conservation & marine park tourist attraction but also has one of SA's most un-swimmable beaches… its time to change it but only a very small part of it,” his petition reads.
“The opportunity is to not only make Hallett Cove Beach another SA Great iconic location but additionally for residents & visitors an opportunity to cool off in this stunning beach.”
