A man who raped and killed an outback nurse in South Australia's far north has been jailed for life today.
Dudley Davey will serve at least 32 years non-parole for the abduction, rape and murder of Gayle Woodford in the APY Lands in March last year.
The mandatory head sentence is life behind bars.
The 36 year old had pleaded guilty to Woodford's murder back in February.
The judge said Davey's earlier criminal record of attacks on women made him a danger to the community.
The court heard he was "largely remorseless" for attacks on at least five different women over more than two decades.
