It was a miserable morning for around 300 passengers booked on a 9.30 am flight from Adelaide to Bali this morning.
They received a text message from the airline at 3.30 am to tell them the flight had been cancelled because of "operational requirements."
Passengers were offered the chance to get on the next flight on Sunday - or a full refund.
But for those who took the money and ran onto another airline... some found they were up for as much as $1500... one-way!
