A "devastated" Adelaide family are calling for the return of their English bullmastiff puppy, snatched from their backyard last weekend.
Nicole Snibson told Nine News she was forced to tell her heartbroken four-year-old son today that nine-week-old Butkus was taken from their Andrew's Farm home on Saturday night.
"It's disgusting that (someone) can come into my yard and take something that's not yours,” she said.
"I had to tell him that the puppy was actually stolen and he's devastated.”
She added: "Bring him home, I have a four-year-old that misses his puppy, just wants to play with him.”
Ms Snibson has shared a plea to Facebook, calling for help from the general public amid fears the puppy has been now sold to a new unsuspecting owner.
"Hopefully we can find the thief and get our baby back," she wrote.
