MOD. has officially opened in Adelaide and it’s set to challenge everything you know about the “museum” experience.
The first exhibition, MOD.IFY, aims to throw open one of the big questions – what is it to be human? And judging from what we’ve heard, it’s well worth a visit.
The museum, which has seven purpose-built gallery spaces over two floors, plus a café and shop is located in the heart of the West End at the University of South Australia’s Cancer Research Institute on North Terrace (adjacent to the Morphett Street bridge).
University of South Australia Vice Chancellor, Professor David Lloyd says the museum hopes to spark creative, unconventional and original thinking. The museum collects ideas and knowledge instead of objects
The program for MOD. will include two themed exhibitions a year and it will be open Friday evenings for drinks after work and at weekends. Find out more here.
We can’t wait to visit!
