You can’t mention 90s/00s RnB without thinking of FASHION!

Those two decades gave us killer tunes, killer music videos, killer red carpet looks and ultimately killer RnB style. In no particular order, let’s take a look back at some of the most influential RnB outfits from the 1990s and 2000s.

10. Mariah Carey - 'Heartbreaker' Music Video

Umm, pink crochet tank top and jeans with a cut-off waistband? - YES!

9. MC Hammer Pants

Just coming into the decade in 1990, MC Hammer released 'U Can't Touch This' and not only influence the style of many but spawned an era of endless parodies.

8. Rihanna - Umbrella

When Rihanna released her ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ album, suddenly every girl wanted to cut their hair and rock a side fringe.

7. Aaliyah - Try Again

Aaliyah (may she Rest In Peace) had ALL THE STYLE. To this day, RnB stars have been trying to recreate all the cool she was oozing in the Try Again music video.

6. TLC - Abs

TLC were usually seen rocking their toned abs in crop tops and baggy pants.

5. Eminem's Hoodie

Eminem wrote 'Real Slim Shady' for a reason. Everyone wanted in on Shady's style, but one iconic image of Eminem that has stuck is his 8 Mile hoodie.

4. Destiny's Child - Survivor

They were the biggest RnB girl group of all time, releasing hit after hit. We watched their style evolve over time and every music video was full of memorable outfits. It's tough to choose just one moment, but the Survivor music video feels like one to mention. Those tribal and combat outfits were fierce and fabulous!

3. Jennifer Lopez - The Green Versace Dress

In 2000, Jennifer Lopez wore an exotic green Versace dress to the Grammys that had everyone talking. The dress’s neckline was so low cut that it passed her navel and was studded with gems. The dress was Googled so much that the president of Google later revealed the buzz it created lead them to create Google Images!

2. Justin Timberlake - Future Sex Love Sounds Album

JT had been influencing men's style year before 2006, but when he released SexyBack, Summer Love and Love Stoned, every guy decided to try out light great suits, vests and ties.

1. Beyonce - Crazy In Love

Okay pretty much Beyonce in ANYTHING, but the Crazy In Love video is a standout. Bey pretty much strutted into the video saying "Yeah, a white tank top with blue Daisy Dukes is mine now and I'm crushing it".

With a hat, silk midriff jacket and baggy pants, Yonce rocks 2000s street style before changing it up, turning around in front of a giant fan and giving us ultimate style jealousy!

We still haven't found a dress as awesome as Bey's orange and pink ensemble...and that's only half the outfits she wears in the video. This is why she's allowed to say "Bow down".
