You may remember it as The Wellington or just simply as your local but now this recently renovated premises in Bendigo is making a resurgence complete with new owners and a new name.

Introducing: The Botanical, the brainchild of business owners Sally and Kevin Gebert who took over the lease after Bendigo Staduim Limited walked away from the pub earlier this year.

And, after months of refurbishment, the doors have opened this week with a new look and menu that is sure to turn the heads of any foodie in Bendigo.

The now family friendly dinner venue and easy after-work drinks haunt has something for everyone: sports bar, all day dining options and a huge selection of wine, beers and cocktails.

But first, let's talk about the menu. A whopping 50 quality pub-style meals have been carefully selected so there's a dish to tantalise all taste buds. From the old favourites like wood fired pizzas, gourmet burgers, and succulent steaks to contemporary choices such as ginger and soy marinated salmon fillets on a bed of carrot and cucumber slaw, and duck breast served medium rare with seasonal green vegetables, smashed potatoes and an orange spice sauce.

And, better yet, they are available around the clock, with an all day dining option from Wednesday-Sunday, meaning the menu isn't just delicious but very convenient for families of a daytime.

With a long list of beers flowing on tap including BBB Pale Ale, White Rabbit and Iron Jack Mid Strength and a huge gin and vodka selection so you can whip up an espresso martini or two, this place is ready to provide good times all round.
