Every Christmas movie always shows us how beautiful a white Christmas can be, so we've decided to put together a list of how you can have a white christmas in Sydney!

1. Visit Santaland

Hidden in the Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park is the amazing Santaland! Not only can you meet the big guy himself, but there's some wonderful snowy things to do for the whole family, including Santa's crystal ice skating rink, a toboggan ride and exploring through Santa's alpine forrest.

2. Go Iceskating

Have the most iconic white Christmas experience with some festive ice skating! Head to Ice Zoo in Alexandria for your day of frosty fun. You can also book in some figure skating lessons!

3. Make Eggnog

What a better way to have a traditional white Christmas than with home made Eggnog! It may sound pretty gross to us, but it's actual the highlight of a Northern Hemisphere Christmas. All you need is milk, cinnamon, egg whites, sugar and vanilla over a warm stove and you're in business.

4. Make Hot Cocoa

If there's one way to feel like you're having a white Christmas in Australia, it's to cuddle up on the couch with a hot cocoa. Just grab yourself some cocoa powder, sugar, water, milk, salt and a little bit of nutmeg or cinnamon over a warm stove, crank the air con, put on Love Actually and you're set!

5. Install an indoor snow blower

If you don't mind a little bit of festive mess, installing an indoor snow machine is the best way to treat yourself to a white Christmas! You can grab one of these babies online, or from an electronics store at your local shopping centre. Crank the air con, surprise the family with this one and you'll have the best white Christmas ever!
